Knowshon Moreno (Georgia) once again dominates, carrying 18 times for 133 yards and 3 TDs, and adding a 2-point conversion. Kordell Young (Rutgers) gives New Jersey a 7-0 lead on the opening drive.

New York strikes with a 12-yard TD pass from Naaman Roosevelt (Buffalo) to Dan Sheeran (Syracuse) late in the 1st quarter, cutting it to 7-6.

However, New York's offense struggles against New Jersey's defense which is highlighted by standout performances by DE Mark Paski (Princeton), DE Jason Adjepong (Virginia Tech), DT Terrence Banks (Temple), LB George Johnson (Virginia), CB Zack Luckett (Virginia Tech).

Moreno adds a 2-yard TD run, and then an 8-yard TD after Luckett jumps an outpass by John Schaeffer (Marist) late in the 1st half, giving New Jersey a 24-6 lead at the half. Moreno caps the scoring with a 3-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter.

New York's best performances come on defense from DT Stephen Schwicke (Stony Brook) and LBs Parker Cantey (Syracuse) and Edmond Laryea (Rutgers).
