South beats the North 14-0 in a defense-dominated contest.

The South finds the end zone once in each half, and that's enough to win. Bradley Stephens (Texas A&M) scores on a 2-yard run in the 1st quarter. Jeff Welch (Sam Houston State) hits Chris Tate (Houston) for a 10-yard TD pass in the 4th quarter.

So dominating is the South defense that Logan Turner (SMU) completes the North's 1st pass on the game in the 4th quarter. The North turns it over 5 times while managing just 138 yards. The South defense is lead by linebacker Tank Carder (TCU) who wins the MVP award with 9 tackles, a sack, an INT and a forced fumble. CB Earl Thomas (Texas) also stands out for the South.
