Delbarton Green Wave finally overcomes Poly Prep with a 14-6 win.

The Blue Devils won the 3 previous meetings, but junior Jeff McBride throws for 106 yards and 2 TDs for Delbarton, and the Green Wave withstands a final gasp when Vincent DiForte misses an open receiver in the end zone on 4th down.

McBride gives Delbarton a 7-0 lead with a 2-yard TD pass to Chad Wiedmaier w/ 2:53 left in the 2nd quarter. The Blue Devils answer with an 8-yard TD pass from DiForte to Anthony DiNaso in the 3rd quarter. But McBride adds a 31-yard TD pass to T.J. O'Donnell.

Delbarton also includes OT Mark Paski (Princeton), OT/DT Will Hart (Cornell), DE Tom McCarthy (Yale), CB Dave Chillura (Georgetown).
