Wayzata Trojans avenge 3 straight losses to rival Minnetonka, topping the Skippers 35-14.

In a rematch of Minnesota's Class 5A State Championship, Wayzata rides Joey Miller and QB Ben Gaither, making his 1st start, to turn in a dominating win.

Miller runs for 141 yards, including TD runs of 3, 15, and 25 yards. Gaither goes 7-of-14 for 128 yards and a TD. Miller's 2nd TD run puts the Trojans up for good 21-14.

Minnetonka RB Jalon Hopkins blisters Wayzata for a 72-yard TD to tie the game at 14-14 in the 3rd quarter. But Hopkins is held to 19 yards on his other 12 carries, after shredding Wayzata's defense for 228 yards in the Prep Bowl.
