Moorpark Musketeers pound Simi Valley for a 27-0 win.

The 3 Musketeers in Moorpark's backfield are too much for the Pioneers. Sophomore QB Adam Berry (Wyoming) scores on a pair of keepers, while Dan Hogan and sophomore star Darrell Scott (Colorado) combine for 243 yards rushing and 1 TD each.

Berry's 2-yard sneak for a TD w/ 1:11 in the 2nd quarter finally provides a score in a game dominated by penalties in the 1st half. Moorpark extends the lead to 13-0 in the 3rd quarter on Scott's 10-yard TD run, that is set up by Moran's 79-yard run. Moments earlier, Simi Valley appeared poised to tie the score, but Dakota Holland makes 1 of his 2 INTs in the end zone.

Berry adds his 2nd TD in the 4th quarter, then Moran, who runs for 122 yards, adds a 10-yard TD run. Scott ends up with 121 yards on a bad ankle.

The Musketeers also include junior tackle George Halamandaris (Stanford), junior guard Kyle Rainer (Fresno State), junior WR Josh Smith (Colorado).

Simi Valley struggles offensively, and only manages to complete 1 pass to star WR Lorne Bell (Fresno State).
