Game Notes

Wrightstown Tigers stay unbeaten, beating 2-time defending Wisconsin Div. 5 champ Brillion, 20-7.

The Tigers start right, as James Lasee returns the opening kickoff 87 yards for a TD. Wrightstown then turns the game over to Michael Zirbel and its defense. Zirbel carries 31 times for 213 yards and a pair of TDs as the Tigers open a 20-0 lead in the 1st half.

Brillion tries rallying in the 2nd half, with Max Schmelter's 1-yard TD run early in the 4th quarter cutting it to 20-7. Schmelter runs for 105 yards. However, Lasee and Kyle Kamps intercept Brillion passes inside the Wrightstown 30 in the final 3 minutes to preserve the win.
