Don Bosco Prep Ironmen are too much for Bergen Catholic, pulling away for a 34-10 win.

The Ironmen get TDs from their defense and special teams, and turn another turnover into score. Nick Mistretta recovers the ball for a score after Dale Fava blocks the Crusaders' 1st punt. Fava then follows it up with an INT on the next possession, setting up a 2-yard keeper by QB Matt Simms (Louisville) for a 13-0 lead.

Bergen Catholic gains some momentum when David Kuncio (Penn) nails a 50-yard FG at the end of 1st half, and then soph Rob Eckrote hits junior WR Bill Schautz (Virginia) for a 35-yard TD pass in the 3rd quarter cutting it to 13-10.

But then Don Bosco puts it away in the 4th quarter. Guy Germinario scores on a 1-yard run. Steve Proscia returns an INT 75 yards for a TD and then freshman Tony Jones breaks loose for a 42-yard TD run. Jones finishes with 70 yards rushing. Simms goes 6-of-16 for 84 yards.
