Carter Kopach (Northern Michigan) accumulates 214 total yards offense and runs for a pair of TDs in the 1st half. Kopach opens the score with a 2-yard TD capping the opening possession, and then adds a 1-yard TD early in the 2nd. Tim Brown extends the lead to 21-0 with a 4-yard TD w/ :38 left before halftime. Brown later adds a 9-yard TD for the finishing touch.

The Celtic avoid the shutout when Brian Stroud hits Mike Maher with a 9-yard TD pass and 2-point conversion in the 4th quarter.
