Foothill Falcons deny Novato 21-3.

Despite outplaying the Falcons, the Hornets manage just a 3-0 lead in the 1st half. Foothill manages to take the lead on Josh Mendonca's 24-yard TD pass to Jordan Johnson w/ 6:14 left in the 2nd quarter despite not having a 1st down yet in the game.

The Falcons extend the lead on Mendonca's 9-yard TD pass to junior FB/LB Rob Andrews (San Diego State) late in the 3rd quarter, and following a 3-and-out by Novato, Johnson returns a punt 30 yards for a TD and 21-3 lead w 1:02 left in the 3rd.

Andrews rushes for 54 yards on 14 carries, and adds 4 catches for 40 yards.
