Solon Comets make too many big plays for Strongsville, rolling to a 27-13 victory.

Solon turns a pair of interceptions into a 10-0 lead in the 1st quarter. Junior Zach Brillhart follows the 2nd pick with a 26-yard TD pass to Charles Matthews (West Virginia).

The Mustangs make noise when junior Tim Kamczyc hits junior WR/DB D.J. Woods (Cincinnati) on a 90-yard TD pass w/ 3:23 left in the first half, pulling Strongsville to within 13-6. However, Matthews responds by returning the ensuing kickoff 82 yards for a score.

The Comets stretch the lead to 27-6 on Ben Tornatore's 33-yard TD pass to Deloreen Martin in the 4th quarter. Martin runs for 88 yards and adds 2 catches for 45 yards. Matthews has 3 catches for 58 yards.
