St. Xavier Tigers pull away for 35-21 win over Highlands.

Victor Anderson (Louisville) takes over the in the 2nd half after the Bluebirds lead 7-6 at halftime. Anderson rushes for 154 yards and 3 TDs on 21 carries.

Anderson gets St. Xavier on the board first with a 4-yard TD run, but the Bluebirds go to the half leading 7-6 on Jordan Kramer's 5-yard TD run. Anderson gives the Tigers the lead with a 38-yard TD run early in the 3rd quarter, and then adds a 2-point conversion on a pass from Chris Wade. Sophomore Deuce Finch (Boston College) extends the lead to 21-7 with an 8-yard TD run.

Clay Cecil's 31-yard TD run cuts the lead to 21-13. But St. Xavier answers with a 13-yard TD pass from Wade to Ben Brown. After Cecil's 64-yard TD pass to Kramer pulls Highlands to within 28-21, Anderson puts the game away with a 4-yard TD run.

St. Xavier includes junior LB Nate Combs (Army) and junior OT Matthew Smith (Kentucky).
