Pittsburg's defense makes a late stand, stopping the Warriors' final threat when Eric Clark sacks Ryan Lowder on 4th down in Pirates' territory.

Pittsburg dominates through the 1st half, building a 12-0 lead on 5-yard TD runs by junior Monte Davis and John Harrell. Davis rushes for 84 yards on 11 carries, while Harrell adds 74 yards on 14 carries.

Valley Christian gets back into the game following a fumble recovery by DE Matt Singletary (Baylor), son of Hall of Famer Mike Singletary. Ben Moreno's 2-yard TD run pulls the Warriors to within 12-7 w/ 7:21 left in the 3rd quarter.
