Chaminade-Madonna Lions rolls to a 50-15 win over the Raiders for their 2nd state title in 3 seasons.

Willie Floyd (Florida Atlantic) and junior FB Xavier Stinson (Florida Atlantic) lead a dominating running game that rolls up 435 yards rushing. Floyd leads the way, slashing South Sumter's defense for 242 yards and 3 TDs on 23 carries, while Stinson adds 142 yards and 3 TDs on 16 carries. The duo runs behind a big line lead by tackle Joseph Dawson (Florida Atlantic) and junior G Emeka Nwankwo (Notre Dame).

The Raiders playing with out star junior RB Richard Kelly (South Florida), are left relying on the passing combo of Jarrod Fleming to Carlos Everett (N.C. State). Everett catches 6 for 109 yards and 1 TD.

Floyd's 10-yard TD run starts Chaminade, but Everett responds with a 61-yard TD reception from Fleming. However, the Lions pull away quickly as Floyd adds a 4-yard TD run, and Stinson follows with TD runs of 6 and 36 yards giving Chaminade a 29-7 lead early in the 3rd quarter.

South Sumter also includes junior LB Kendall Smith (Florida State). Chamindade includes S Jordan Delegal (N.C. State), junior S Eain Smith (West Virginia), junior CB Akeem Auguste (South Carolina), CB/WR Kamar Aiken (Central Florida).
