Longwood Lions beat Farmingdale 39-23 by dominating the 2nd half after a wild 1st half.

Nakyle Bathey's 5-yard TD run caps a 9:08 drive by the Dalers on the opening possession of the game. Bathey's TD is the first of 4 in 39 seconds. Longwood's Kevin Bennett (SUNY-Cortland) returns the ensuing KO 84 yards for a score. Not to be outdone, Charles Ross returns the following KO 91 yards for a TD and 14-6 lead by Farmingdale.

Erik Merkerson (Western Connecticut) returns the following KO about 40 yards before fumbling, and teammate Rory Shepherd picks it up after a scramble and carries it the remaining 16 yards for a TD, completing a string of back-to-back-to-back kickoff returns for TDs.

Junior Anthony Borriello (SUNY-Cortland) puts Longwood ahead 18-14 with a 9-yard TD pass to Kevin Watkins. Farmingdale QB Brian Bagnasco's 1-yard TD run gives the Dalers a 20-18 lead at the half.

Longwood takes the lead for good on Borriello's 1-yard TD following a 54-yard run by Brett Wilson on the opening drive of the second half.

Wilson rushes for 200 yards and 2 TDs, both in the 4th quarter putting the game away.
