William Floyd Colonials repeat with a 42-20 win over East Meadow.

William Floyd breaks open the close game in the 2nd half, after leading the Jets 21-20 following a back-and-forth 1st half. Junior Joe Sidaris (Hofstra) leads the way hitting 11-of-15 for 214 yards and 3 TDs while adding a 4th TD on the ground. Sidaris and junior RB Brock Jackolski (Hofstra) are too much for East Meadow.

East Meadow goes up 14-7 on Mike Tracy's 7-yard TD pass to Andrew Rubenau. Rubenau rushes for 146 yards behind a line featuring OT/DT John Elliott (Boston College).

However, the Colonials even then game when Sidaris hits Johnny Amato with a 12-yard TD pass and then connects with Anthony Centrella on a 40-yard TD 1 play after the defense makes a 4th-down stop. In the 2nd half, William Floyd has the big plays. Jackolski scores on a 63-yard run, and then he hauls in a 63-yard TD pass from Sidaris. Sidaris closes out the win with a 30-yard TD run.
