Saginaw-Nouvel Central Catholic Panthers put away Inkster in the 2nd half for a 28-14 win.

After the Vikings rally to force a 14-14 halftime tie, the Panthers control the 2nd half, taking the lead when Bradley Sonntag his Nick Awrey for a 30-yard TD w/ 4:44 remaining in the 3rd quarter. Then Nouvel Central Catholic puts together a finishing drive, going 96 yards before Nicholas Birnbaum caps its with a 9-yard TD run.

Birnbaum rushes for 85 yards while catching 3 passes for 56 yards. Sonntag goes 8-of-16 for 133 yards and also runs for 69 yards. Nouvel Central Catholic also includes LB Patrick Graham (Purdue).

Junior Aaron Shavers (Alcorn State) keeps Inkster in the contest, running for 134 yards and 1 TD, while throwing for 89 yards and 1 TD despite having 2 long potential TD passes dropped. Inkster also includes junior DE Armand Staten (Central Michigan) and junior CB Joshua Howard (Ball State).
