Mendon Hornets put down Forest Park 25-13 for their 9th state championship.

Mendon builds an 18-0 lead and then withstands the Trojans' rally. Travis Doster hits Matt McClish with a 7-yard TD w/ 4:55 left to put the game away. Doster hit McClish with a 55-yard TD pass in the 2nd quarter to open the scoring. Doster finishes 6-of-12 for 112 yards.

Derrick Maurer intercepts 2 passes, setting up one of Mendon's 1st half TDs. Brock Alexander runs for 84 yards, including a 1-yard TD in the second quarter. Ryan Ettinger returns a punt 70 yards for a TD early in the second half for an 18-0 lead.

Clay Foster hits Brad LaChappelle with a 12-yard TD, and then Kyle LaVacque breaks free for a 70-yard TD helping the Trojans rally.
