Game Notes

Fort Hamilton Tigers storm past Lehman to capture their 1st PSAL Championship with a 46-22 win.

The previously unbeaten Lions look strong early, taking a 14-6 by scoring on their 1st 2 possessions. Roberto DeLeon (Iowa Wesleyan) hits Marquis Garcia-Palmer with a 22-yard TD pass, and then adds an 11-yard TD run.

But Fort Hamilton's playmakers take over. Sophomore QB Jeffrey Legree, who scored the first Tigers' TD with a 2-yard run, connects with Whitfield Morris (Marist) on a 53-yard TD pass, and then follows it with a 41-yard bomb to Morris to take a 20-14 lead. Legree scores on a 1-yard QB sneak on the final play of the first half, building a 28-14 lead.

Legree starts the 2nd half with a 46-yard TD pass to junior Pete Stroud (Fork Union/Rutgers). Legree finishes 8-of-10 for 182 yards and 3 TDs, to go with 2 TD runs.

Five-foot-3 Antonio Wolcott (Maine) puts the finishing touches on with a pair of TD runs, including a 49-yarder. Wolcott finishes with 171 yards rushing.
