Kevin Ortega's 41-yard FG on the final play lifts the Dragons past Spring Branch-Smithson Valley. The Rangers fall to the Dragons in the championship game for the 2nd time in 3 years.

Missouri-bound QB Chase Daniel throws for 299 yards and 1 TD for Southlake-Carroll while adding another 80 yards on the ground. Fullback Aaron Luna adds 2 TD runs.

Smithson Valley QB Zach Bailey combines for 190 yards, and the Rangers lead 24-17 after a blocked punt in the 4th quarter. But Daniel connects with Kenton Gedwed on a 65-yard TD, then directs the winning FG drive.
