Colts smother the Texans 38-20.

Peyton Manning throws for 237 yards and 2 TDs, while Edgerrin James runs for 139 yards and 2 TDs. Meanwhile, Indianapolis' defense shuts down Houston, holding the Texans to 149 yards offense, and a net 6 yards passing.

Houston has a brief flicker of hope late in the 1st half, following a 8-yard TD run by Domanick Davis, the Texans tie the game 14-14 on a David Carr-to-Jabar Gaffney 8-yard TD pass that followed a Manning INT.

But the Colts take the 2nd half kickoff and drive for a 7-yard TD run by James that re-establishes Indianapolis' control.
