Redskins escape with a 30-28 win, overcoming a huge comeback by the Cardinals.

Mark Moseley's 39-yard FG w/ :36 left rescues Washington after St. Louis scores on 3 straight drives in the 4th quarter to erase a 27-7 deficit. Jim Hart's 21-yard TD pass to Ottis Anderson w/ 1:48 left gives the Cardinals a brief 28-27 lead, prior to the Redskins' winning drive.

It's a remarkable rally by Hart, who was just 5-of-21 before hitting 11-of-12 during the comeback. Wayne Morris scores on a 2-yard run, and then Theotis Brown on a 1-yarder to bring St. Louis back to within 27-21. Anderson rushes for 105 yards.

Washington builds the lead on a pair of TD passes by Joe Theismann, and 2 TDs by John Riggins, one rushing, one receiving. Theismann's 4-yard TD toss to Riggins early in the 4th quarter appears to seal the outcome giving Washington a 27-7 lead with just over 14 minutes to play.
