I read an article in the local paper about A.C.E. Services recycling empty ink cartridges for local schools. I work for the city of Rohnert Park. I thought what a wonderful way to help our local schools and help save the environment! I sent an email to all the employees of Rohnert Park about this service and asking them to please send me their "empties" instead of throwing them away! I even encouraged them to tell people they know and to get their "empties". We have raised a total of $725 by recycling! Not only have we donated to different schools within our community but our last donation was to the World Trade Center Orphan's Fund. We have received letters of gratitude from the school. We even have some employees whose children go to the schools that have received donations. It is such an easy thing to do and the benefits are great! I highly recommend this service! Alison is also wonderful person to have developed this service and awareness!! Recycle those "empties"!!!

The Department of Recreation and Parks has 7 printers, which encompass black ink as well as color cartridges and can we produce a lot of empty cartridges!!! Our department does a multitude of promotional pieces, flyers and administrative items. When I first came to the city I asked if they had a program but one was not in existence. Edie with our department introduced us to you as she had been working with you through her federal job.
So we started sending the cartridges your way. Your mailing system makes it easy to handle and really great when we receive a check for the empty cartridges. Our department is always looking for ways to save money, find grants or programs that can benefit the many activities that we do etc. We use the money to go back into the program areas to help buy program supplies. Some of which may be another cartridge or an item to be purchased to implement a program. More importantly this service helps our environment by recycling items that normally would be thrown away in a landfill!
