ABOUT THE JAGMASTER

"Blend a Jaguar, Jazzmaster, humbucking pickups, vintage tremolo and a simple tone circuit and you have...the Jagmaster"

The above quote really does describe the guitar well, it was concieved as an 'alternative' guitarist's guitar, and released as part of the Squier 'Vista' series. I think it has a design that works for any type of rock music. Also, the Jagmaster in its original form was only made for a period of TWO years- 1997 and 1998, which makes it quite a collectable. It's also just a really nice and pleasantly different guitar. The first Jagmasters had a neck in which the truss rod is adjusted at the bottom of the neck, and the later ones have a 70's style 'bullet' truss rod, which is adjusted at the headstock. A new version of the guitar with a full scale length has been introduced.
