The creation, in accordance with the international experience, of the new public Academy in Kazakstan (AMR-RK) has the goal to unite all scientific and engineering MRC sources of the Republic and to concentrate their activity to solve the most urgent scientific-technical problems, under the new circumstances, when the most powerful scientific centers of the MRC are under the Russian management. The AMR-RK has the regional branches which are organized according to the territorial division: Western Kazakstan; Atyrau; Eastern Kazakstan - Ust-Kamenogorsk; Central Kazakstan - Karaganda; North Kazakstan - Kustanay. It also has the departments at the major mining regions such as Dzeskasgan, Rudniy, Ekibastuz, Pavlodar, etc.
