The Professional Club of the Scientific and Engineering Technical Workers of the Mineral Resources Complex of the Republic of Kazakstan

The scientific and technical intellectuals of the mineral-resources complex which plays a vital role in the economy of Kazakstan, has to occupy the merited position in the mutual process of the spiritual unity of the peoples of Kazakstan. This factor dictates an urgent necessity to the specialists of the mineral-resources complex to form a creative and informal unity. This unity is caused by the general understanding of the goals of the sovereign Kazakstan, general aspiration for the prosperity of the Republic, interest in the development of the mineral-resources complex.

The scientists and engineers of the mineral-resources complex of the Republic have organized their professional CLUB for the achievements of the above-mentioned tasks. The CLUB is organized under the Academy of Mineral Resources and it is a non-political, democratic, incommercial public organization, acting in accordance with the Legislations of the Republic of Kazakstan.

1. The aim of the CLUB organization is the consolidation of the intellectuals, scientists, engineers, teachers having relations with the mineral-resources complex of the Republic (geologists, miners, petroleum engineers, metallurgists, etc.) in an informal basis, regardless of their ages and social status.

2. The tasks of the CLUB:

*** Every kind of assistance towards the realization of the strategy of development of the Republic set forth by the Message of the President N. A. NAZARBAEV to the People of Kazakstan. The strengthening of the spiritual unity of the Peoples of Kazakstan, the maintenance and development of the moral/spiritual traditions of the intellectuals of the Republic;

*** The spiritual and moral unity, on this basis, of the scientists and engineering-technical workers involved in the mineral-resources complex;

*** The exchange of the latest information and its analysis in the fields of geology, mining, production and processing of hydrocarbons, concentration, economy, ecology, geoecology, and ensure their close co-operation;

*** The construction on the informal creative basis the estimations and recomendations in the field of development and strengthening of the mineral-resources complex; the analysis of its state and development in the transitional period;

*** The providence of active co-operation with international colleagues working in Kazakstan;

*** Assistance to the members of the CLUB in international co-operation, in exchange of information through Internet; to supply the members of the CLUB with the periodical literature;

*** To render the members of the CLUB legal assistance for social security and employment;

*** The organization of the joint leisure and cultural educational and health-improving programs for the members of the CLUB.

3. The activity of the CLUB will be conducted under the guidance of the Academy of Mineral Resources with the participitation of other public organizations. The AMR will supply the CLUB with its material base, including the premises for conducting meetings, lectures, discussions and “round tables”, computers for browsing the Internet; premises for business and friendship relations of the members of the CLUB and their guests.
