OK, I won't disguise it - I like John Woo's movies! John
Woo's movies are harsh and unfair, such as life is. That's why not everybody
can accept them. "Bullet in the head" is one of those movies.
1967. Hong Kong. Three friends - Benny, Frank and Pol - live in the
poor city block and dream about becoming rich...Well, maybe it will happen
sometime...if they won't die earlier...
After accidentally killing some bustard, they escaped to the Vietnam
and trapped in the bloody, senseless and stupid war...
Fans of the soft romantic movies shouldn't watch this movie at all,
rather than later blame authors for too much violence. Such people will not
see actual humanistic, moral and anti-war ideas in the movie.
