"An Emotional Time" was written after the German Tour of 1993 and it was a very big occassion for "A Forever Thing" as it marked the first trip abroad to see a show. There was something so special about seeing them in another country, a bigger event and it was great to get to hear them in numerous clubs.
I personally recall that it took a long time to write this issue. My head was full of so many memories and I couldn't get them down the way I wanted. I spent time discussing the tour with other fans and tried to get as many perspectives as I could.
It was one of the best times in my life and I will always have fond memories of being there on German streets, nowhere to sleep half of the time, going without sleep for 52 hours and living on paprika crisps and bread rolls. That was the life and given a chance to return, I would snap it up in a second!!
An Emotional Time - it sure was.....
