Noticeably sexism is starting to shift - not moved out of the picture by the feminist movement, but into their favour, as after years of ‘get your tits out for the lads’, women are now starting to get their own back on the unexpected good lookers, including good old Harket himself.

We are all guilty of admiring the way people look, but it is a shallow flirtation as shallow as outer beauty itself, with no excuse to treat another person like a cheap piece of meat or an object of sexual derision. Morten Harket stood on that stage with no sexual intent - he came to be a musician not a male stripper and yet so many assume, because of his status, that he’s the type of guy who loves to be touched, who is there to be touched, even if it isn’t in his job description.

All women out there who have been sexually harassed in numerous ways; The man talking to your breasts, the building site wolf whistles, or the way a harmless kiss to some men is conditionally followed by sex, have a good think and try to imagine how Morten feels and felt on the night when his album that he worked so hard on and felt so much for, was less important than the blue of his eyes and the size of his manhood.
