God and Marriage.

God did not define marriage as the churches teach:

Marriage to the Lord is the loyal and total commitment of two people to each other. The relationship commences from the time the commitment is made, from this point each partner is no longer single. They are married in the sight of God.

If they as a couple stop living as a loving married couple, that includes sharing God’s love through sexual intercourse. Then that marriage has ceased in God’s eyes, if they continue to pretend they are married then their life is a lie. Any relationship may be terminated by either partner at any time, just by withdrawing their commitment, and out of courtesy telling the other partner.

God also recognizes any public declaration of that commitment.

If the marriage ends then both partners are free to make another commitment to another person.

Any sexual involvement outside of that relationship is adultery.

Involvement does not have to involve physical contact; just to be in the physical presence of another person who is naked or part naked, and to look upon that person with a sexual attitude, has committed adultery. Watching videos cannot be adultery as the person cannot be in the presence of the people on the video. God considers adultery very serious and will punish it very severely. It is also adultery for a single person to have sex with another person whom they know is in a relationship.

The Lord considers casual sex to be when a person has a sexual experience with another person to whom they have no intention of or consideration of forming a relationship and commitment with that person. One person may see a possible commitment while the second person just wants the sexual experience, the person with no interest in any commitment is the only one to do wrong. God considers casual sex as very serious and will punish it very severely.

The Lord has decreed the sexual act to be the sharing of the fullness of his love. This can only be done with a commitment of the interest in a possible commitment.

The sexual act is never cheapened or made evil, what God has created will remain a beautiful thing, designed to convey the fullness of a person’s love with pleasure and fulfillment.

A person’s wrong attitude in their sexual experience will deprive them of the purity and pleasure which is good.

The sexual expression of unconditional love, between two people committed to their monogamous relationship, is also the richest and strongest awareness of the Lord’s presence that any person can have in the physical world.
