*Chapter 16*

                             *Chapter 16*
                              *Titanic*

"Brace yourself," Genesis warned before the
two of them walked in her house.
    	"Why?" Sarah asked.
    	"You'll see."
"Genesis! Hi! Who is this?" Helen asked the
second they walked in the door.
"Mom, this is Sarah Hallen, Sarah, this is my
    mother."
"Hello Sarah! It's so nice to meet you! Genesis
hasn't met any girls her age yet! See, I told you
Genesis! I said you would meet some people!"
Genesis rolled her eyes. Her mother was
shaking Sarah's hand, offering her snacks, and
    practically taking off her shoes.
"The only friends Genesis has around here
    are the Hansons so far."
Genesis froze. She didn't want people to
bug her about knowing the Hansons and ask for an
introduction. She looked at Sarah. She didn't
seem very excited at the mention of the Hansons,
so she figured it was ok.
"Mom," Genesis said. "We're going to
    my room."
Genesis figure she should get Sarah out
of there before her mother asked her to live with them.
    	"Wow you're mom is sure...um...
friendly," Sarah commented when Genesis closed
    the door to her room.
    	"Yeah no kidding," Genesis laughed.
"So..." Sarah sighed, sitting on Genesis's
bed. "Can I see the scar?" she asked.
"Sure." Genesis lifted her shirt and
pointed out the pink scar across her stomach.
"Mine was just like that!" Sarah exclaimed.
    	"This is weird," Genesis mumbled.
Sarah looked around at Genesis's walls.
    "Devon Sawa?" she asked.
    	"Yeah," Genesis said.
"Who's he? And who's this Leonardo
    DiCaprio?"
Genesis looked at Sarah. "Are you
    kidding me?"
    	"What?" Sarah asked.
"You don't know who these people are?"
    Genesis asked.
    	"No. Should I?"
    	"Should you!" Genesis exclaimed. "These
people are like the coolest ever! And not to
mention the cutest! They're all really famous!"
Genesis said, pointing to her walls.
"Famous? Never seen them. Except for
these guys," Sarah said, pointing to a poster
of the Hansons. "They live next door, right?"
"Yeah. Have you ever met them?" Genesis asked.
    	"Nope."
    	"They're really nice."
    	"Cool."
    	"Hey Sarah," Genesis said.
Sarah turned from the Leonardo DiCaprio
    picture she was admiring. "Yeah?"
    	"Do you think he's cute?"
Sarah looked back at the picture, and
    then at Genesis. "Oh yeah!"
Genesis giggled. "You wanna see a movie
with him in it?" she asked.
    	"Definately!" Sarah cried.
    	"Have you seen Titanic?"
    	Sarah laughed. "No. I haven't seen a
    movie in a long time."
"Good. Let's go check when it's playing,"
    Genesis suggested.
    	They went back downstairs.
    	"Mom?" Genesis called.
    	"In the kitchen!"
"Mom where's the paper for today?" Genesis
asked as they went in the kitchen.
    	"On the table," Helen answered.
"There's one in fifteen minutes at
the Tulsa Mall. Mom can you drive us?"
    	"Where?" her mom asked.
"To the mall to see Titanic," Sarah answered.
"Haven't you seen that Genesis?" Helen asked.
"Yeah but Sarah hasn't. And anyway, it's
    the best movie ever made!"
Helen sighed. "Ok. I'll drive you. Just
let me get my shoes and put these in the oven,"
she motioned to the un-baked cookies sitting
on the counter. "Go get ready."
"Come on Sarah," Genesis said, going
to get her shoes. "Do you have to ask your
parents?" she asked, picking up her Airwalks.
    	"No," Sarah replied.
Genesis shrugged. "Ok. Let's go get my money."
Sarah followed Genesis to her room.
"I don't have any money..." Sarah began.
"It's ok! I'll pay for you. After all,
    I invited you, right?"
    	"Thanks Genesis," Sarah said, smiling.
They went back downstairs. Her mother was
ready, so they went to the Tulsa Mall.
"I'll get you girls around six thirty. I
might be a little late though, so just wait around,"
her mother said as she dropped them off at the theater.
"Bye mom!" Genesis waved as she drove off.
    	"Six thirty?" Sarah asked.
"Yeah it's a really long movie,"
    Genesis explained.
    	"Oh."
Genesis payed for two tickets and they went inside.
"Want something to eat?" Genesis asked.
Sarah shrugged. "If you will pay for me."
"Sure. What do you want?" Genesis asked.
"Um, whatever you get I guess."
"Ok I'm getting a slushee and Sourpatch Kids.
    Do you want that?"
    	"Sure."
After they got their food they waited in
a long line to get in the theater. *AN: I experienced
    that when I saw Titanic!*
"Why is the line so long?" Sarah asked.
"This movie is really popular. You'll see
    why! It's awesome!" Genesis answered.
They decided to sit about the fifth seat
back. They settled into their seats. Soon the
    previews began.
"Sheesh there are so many previews!" Sarah exclaimed.
    	"Yeah I know."
Soon, after many previews, the movie began.
"We've got to stay on this ship as long as we can!"
Leonardo DiCaprio exclaimed a little while into the
    movie.
    	"He's CUTE!" Sarah exclaimed.
"Shhhh!" A few people behind them shushed
    them.
    	Genesis giggled.
After the movie, Genesis grabbed Sarah's
hand and pulled her through the crowd of people
    exiting the theater.
"What does your mom's car look like?" Sarah
    asked.
"That one," Genesis replied, pointing to
    a two-door Mitsubishi Eclipse.
    	"Cool," Sarah commented.
Soon her mom came and picked them up, and
    they began to drive home.
"Sarah do you want me to drop you off at
    your house?" Helen asked.
    	"Sure."
"What street is your house on?" Helen asked.
    	"Ember Avenue," Sarah answered.
"Bye Sarah!" Genesis waved out the window
after she got out of the car. "Wait!" she cried.
"Mom wait. Sarah what's your phone number?" Genesis
    asked.
    	"519-8752."
    	"Mom give me a pen."
Helen handed her a pen and she wrote Sarah's
number on her arm. "I'll call you later, k?"
    	"Ok. Bye!" Sarah waved.
    	"Ok mom let's go."
They drove home and Genesis went to her room.
'Should I call Sarah now?' she wondered. She
decided not to. She decided to wait until later.
'I think I'll just go to sleep.' It was 7:00pm
and Genesis wasn't hungry. She laid down on her
bed and fell asleep, dreaming of Leo.
