*Chapter 3*
The Movie
The doorbell rang, and Genesis ran to open it.
"Hey you ready?" Ike asked her casually.
"Yeah I just gotta put my shoes on," Genesis answered.
Genesis slipped on her docs and followed Ike into the car,
where Zac and Tay were already in the back fooling around.
"Zac!" Taylor screamed. "Stop!"
Zac stopped jumping all over Tay and asked innocently,
"What did I do?"
Genesis laughed.
When they arrived at the Tulsa Mall they went into the movie
theater and sat down.
"Want some of my popcorn?" Taylor asked.
"No thanks," Genesis replied.
She took a sip of her Sprite and sat back.
"NO!" Jennifer Love Hewitt screamed.
Genesis buried her face in Ike's shoulder. He put his arm
around her.
Genesis loved horror movies, but her stomach didn't in some
of the really bloody parts.
When the movie was over, they all piled into the car and
talked about the movie.
"It was great!" Zac approved.
"What was your favorite part, Zac?" Ike asked.
"When that one dude was killed," Zac answered.
"Uh, Zac there were a lot of dudes," Taylor pointed out.
"You know, the one with the, um, uh...forget it."
Ike rolled his eyes. "So where did you move here from?"
he asked Genesis.
"Albany, New York," she replied.
"Did you like it there?" Taylor asked.
"Yeah I really did. I miss it there, and all my friends."
"Well we can be your friends!" Zac exclaimed.
"Thanks," Genesis laughed.
"Do you wanna come in?" Ike asked.
"I can't, I have to eat dinner," she replied.
"Oh, ok, well, see you tomorrow then," Ike said, dissappointment in his voice.
"Ok, bye! Thanks for the movie!"
"Bye Genesis!" Taylor and Zac said.
"See ya." Ike waved.
