*Chapter 4* E-mail From Madeline
Genesis skipped home and went up to her room. Oh my God. Hanson invited me over to their house and I said no?! How dumb am I, she thought, plopping down on her bed. She sighed. Oh well. They did say see you tomorrow. She turned on her computer and signed online. She had the usual mail, chain letters-Hanson and non-Hanson-, mail from the tons of clubs she was in, letters from online buddies, and most importantly, an E-mail from LemonTwist@aol.com **AN: If there really is a LemonTwist I'm sorry! It just popped into my head and I wrote it down. It's a coincidence!** "Madeline!" she exclaimed aloud. She opened it. It said:
Genesis- Hey! We miss you here! Why did you have to move!? Well, how are things in 'Boring Old Tulsa'? It's really boring here without you to crack us all up! At least we can still talk. Well, E-mail me back! And don't call me today (May 28) or tomorrow cuz I'll be gone. Bye! -(\/)@Cl3l_l\l3
Genesis laughed. Her name didn't look anything like Madeline. She and Madeline both spelled their names in funky ways on the computer. She wrote back:
Madeline- Hey girl! 'Boring Old Tulsa'? YEAH RIGHT!!! It's so much bigger than I thought and it's so awesome! And guess what! The Hansons live next door! I'm not kidding! Sounds like something right out of a Hanson story, doesn't it! Well they took me to a movie and I think Ike likes me! He looked at my really funny a bunch of times. Well they said 'See you tomorrow'! Woo-hoo! This is awesome! But I really do miss you guys! Say hi to Michelle and Liz for me! Bye! -G3l\l3§l§
Genesis went into a Hanson chat, and began talking to the fans in it. Since there were a bunch of Hanson haters there, she left. She checked out some of the usual Hanson pages and some Hanson hater punted her. **AN: That happens to me a lot!** She decided that since there wasn't much to do online anyway that she would stay off.
