Eagle
The Majestic bird takes flight
Soaring lower from its home
in the high rockies
Its feathered wings flap with
grace
As it floats on the wind with
great ease
Lower and lower its destination
is set
As it rushes down to meet the
ever glassy surface
For it knows that the catch
will be there
Moving stealthily as it rushes
down to take its prey
The powerful talons are ready
In a split second it has what
it needs
Not going hungry; always willing
to survive!
