As part of Marvel Comics 3-week event, "Heroes Reborn: Doomsday", five one-shots and two bookends will be released to chronicle the event. One of these one-shots showcases an old Golden Age title:
Young Allies #1 - Fabian Nicieza/Mark Bagley/Al Vey. Welcome to New America. A land where democracy has been left as roadkill by a 10-ton truck called Anarchy. Laws? Who needs 'em when might makes right! Justice? Dispensed from the barrel of a gun or under a jackbooted heel! Morality? Why pray - better to live on your feet than die on your knees! Bummer. But here comes our last hope... BUCKY TORO I.Q. KID COLT The RIP ...now say sayonara. They're just a bunch of kinds? Rebels barely old enough to remember the way things were but willing to fight for the way they believe things should be! An alliance of teenagers from all over the world who follow the lead of a young girl once taught by the symbol of freedom itself, CAPTAIN AMERICA? Brought together by e-mail? Using terrorist tactics to strike fast under the shroud of secrecy? Funded by money stolen from their enemies? Yeah...there are your HEROES. These are the YOUNG ALLIES. They plan to save planet Earth - One job at a time. One convert at a time. Or die trying. THE YOUNG ALLIES. Give Peace A Chance... Or Get Ready To Pick Up The Pieces.
Young Allies#1 will ship November 10, 1999.

Marvel is revisiting their Golden Age this fall in a pair of projects reprinting some of the more landmark stories of years gone by, with more reprints possibly forthcoming if reader demand warrants it.
According to editor Tom Brevoort, All-Winners Comics #19, featuring the first appearance of Marvel's first-ever superhero team, in a format similar to the recent Human Torch reprint, is set for an October release. And as with the recent Human Torch book, artist Ray Lago will paint a recreation of the cover, and Roy Thomas will do a text feature putting the book into its proper historical context.
Also that month, Marvel will publish Marvel Mystery Comics, an 80-page one-shot in the format of the recent Magneto Ascendant and Black Widow reprints, collecting assorted golden age stories, though the exact line-up had not yet been set.
