Thor Corps#2 Basically the premise is: "From different worlds and times come three mighty warriors, each empowered by an enchanted Asgardian weapon which grants the astonishing abilities of the legendary God of Thunder! Together Dargo, Beta Ray Bill, and Eric Masterson join to form... The Thor Corps!"

Dargo Ktor, the young Thor of the year 2020 (from the same time as Iron Man 2020 and Machine Man 2020), teams up with two other Thors, namely Thunderstrike and Beta Ray Bill, after being reunited by the villainous Demonstaff who is searching for his missing wife, Ellene.

As the Thor Corps agree to help and are shunted to a dimension called Elsewhen, a world on an alternate path of reality. However, even as they barely begin their search, reality twists and they quickly find themselves on a battleship in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The year is 1942 and their foes... The Legendary Invaders.

Torch notes how much they remind him of a certain Nordic God they had recently battled (INVADERS Vol. 1 #32, Sept. 1978). From Dargo's frame of reference, he thinks the "Torch" he has just now met, is the Torch of "FF" fame. Subby and Beta Ray, both being stubborn and strong willed, butt heads bigtime, and Eric makes a feeble attempt to remind Cap that they are friends (obviously not taking into account that Cap wont be meeting Thunderstrike for another 50 years). The battle ensues between the Thor Corps and the Invaders (including Toro and Bucky) for most of the first seven pages until the Thor Corps are once again shunted through time, now in the year 2020.

The rest of the story is completely unrelated to the Invaders so I will leave that to those interested in persuing it on their own.
