**************************************************** Disclaimer time once again!   Fifty-ninth verse same as the first . .everybody *sing*: I don't own these characters, (chorus) Paramount does! I don't own this venue, (chorus) Paramount does! I am making no money off of this, (chorus) Paramount does not either! This story will eventually involve sex between two men, aka: slash.  If that is *not* your cup of tea, sweet as it is, then don't read it! (simple, ain't it??) Feedback is *very* much appreciated, and always answered. Flames will be passed around to friends and chuckled over.  :) Yes, another series.    Sequel to 'Ssst', 'Growl', 'Chuckle', 'Sob', 'Grin', 'Sigh', and 'Smile'. 'Yawn' by Amirin **************************************************** Neelix just left.  I was sorry to see him go, but I knew I couldn't keep my eyes open for very much longer.  He understood it wasn't anything personal. Even promised he'd stop back after the party and see how I was doing, if I needed anything.  He was ecstatic that the crew now had a real reason to party. I'm glad for that, I guess.  It was a little hectic, not to mention exhausting, there, for a while.  The Doc was pleased, I suppose, as much as he could be.  Made some crack about how empty Sickbay was going to be, since I was now awake and leaving and all.  Said I was released to my quarters, easy on the activity, off-duty for the next few days and some other stuff I didn't quite catch. Not that it matters, really.  Damn, I'm beat.  Apparently, I've been out for the last five days.  Musta gotten fried but good, huh? It was nice not waking up alone, I gotta admit.  I was surprised to find Neelix there, right next to me. Hovering. He was talking to me, again.  Made quite a habit of it while I was out, I was told.  *He* might have even told me, I can't quite remember.   Doc said I was back to normal, but I sure as hell don't feel like it. Feels more like I'm only firing at half-impulse.  If that. Neelix walked me back to my quarters.  The place was deserted, but that's because a lot of people were at his party.  He chattered along the whole way and it didn't annoy me at all.  Guess I've had my fill of silence, for a while.  It was nice just listening to him talk.  Cheerful.  I could use cheerful right about now. He all but tucked me in, made a huge fuss about me being warm enough, whatever that was all about.  Even got me a glass of water. Fortunately, he stopped short of the bedtime story, or I would've wondered what universe I was in. I'm really looking forward to his return.  I guess I just don't want to be alone, right now.  Wouldn't surprise me a damned bit if he was the only one to visit me when I was in Sickbay.  Not at all.  Neelix is just like that, carrying on a conversation with someone who doesn't even know he's there. Too damn nice for his own good.  Hopefully, he'll tell me whatever it was he spent the last few days talking to me about.  I'd like to be there, next time.   Oh, damn, I'm out of it.  My brain just doesn't want to work. Good thing it doesn't have to, then, huh? Wonder how long it'll take me to get back up to speed, flying. Probably too long. I'm almost hungry, but I'm too tired to get up and get something.  Maybe later. I don't remember locking my door.  I don't think.  Maybe Neelix did it for me.  Shit, I'm too wiped to ask the computer, even.  Damn, I can't be all right.  I've never been this exhausted.  Not after five days of sleeping. Hell.  I wanted to wait . . . for Neelix . . . to get back. But, I don't . . . think I'm gonna . . . make it . . . that long . . . Think . . . I'm . . . falling . . . ************************end
