the roadtrip crew. this is a picture of the 7 of us
who took a memorable southern trek for spring break 1999. left to right,

from this trip. it was a great combination of people and place. and perfectly
random as well. everyone else i've already talked about, so now it's time
to expound upon jess and susan.

| jess is someone i've really come to appreciate in this past year or so. she's a very cool girl with some very cool opinions. right now she's in thailand, much to our surprise. she just decided to not come home after being there all summer. but she's doing good work, doing things that are important to her (and many to others, i'm sure). nevertheless, we miss her and look forward to her return in the spring. | susan is one crazy girl, but i love her for it. she has the honor of being one of the very first females i became good friends with at swarthmore (as you may notice, many of the aforementioned swarthmore friends are of the male sex). i wouldn't be able to survive the company of our boys without her. |
