| i met shawn during summer 1998. we were both working at catalina island camps. i taught outdoor cooking, he taught music. while i made many friends that summer, shawn was the only person i really got to know, and the only person there that i felt truly knew me. we could lay on our backs, looking at the stars, and just talk for hours. i feel that we had an amazing relationship, full of good stuff for the heart and mind and soul. |

| shawn is an incredible human being, and his musical talent leaves me awestruck. he's taught me so many things about the world, about people, about myself. he's opened my eyes to things i'd never even thought about before, he's taken me places i didn't know were there. he's currently in boston, in his second year at the berklee school of music. i feel extremely lucky that we've stayed friends and kept in touch and have had the chance to see each other since camp. i hope with all my heart that we'll reunite again sometime soon. |
