How To Transload Images

During the last few weeks I've had quite a few people ask me how to tansload images to their own files so they could be used on their websites. Or! That they didn't understand how to use a transloader! Well I'm gonna try to break it down into plain english so you won't have to depend on someone else to do your transloading for you!

First you have to have somewhere to store your images! You can open a free homepage account at TRIPOD, GEOCITIES or any of the other free hosts.

After you open your account and log into your filemanager, I would reccommend you start a subdirectory to keep your images in. To keep things simple, why don't you name the subdirectory ( images )!

Now! Let's Transload Something!

For This example we'll use the DOMANIA FREELOADER! Keep in mind that most transloaders work the same way!

Now! At the top of the transloader you'll see

(LOAD COOKIES: #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8)! This is for storing the information that you're about to put in the form. We'll come back to this a little later!

Below that you'll see

Your Homepage base URL: (Optional)

This is where you would put your homepage URL! You don't have to fill in this part unless you want a link to your page to appear on the final transload page.

Next you'll see

File to be copied: (Required)

This is where you have to put the URL of the file or image that you are making a copy of! This is required!

Next you'll see

FTP server info:

This is where you put in the information about where you want your file to be transloaded to!

Remote FTP server: (Required)

This is where you put your servers name! Such as Tripod, Geocties, Angelfire, ect!

here's an example! You have to write it like this

ftp.tripod.com or ftp.geocities.com

User Login: (Required)

Here you put in your username! The one that you used when you signed up for your homepage account

Password: (Required)

Here you put in your password! The one you signed up for your homepage with!

Subdirectory: (If Any)

This is where you put the name of the subdirectory that you want your image to go into. Remember! We have a directory named images! So put ( images ) in the textfield.

New Name For File: (Required)

Here's where you put the new name that you're going to give to your image or file. NOTE! Make sure you use the same format as the orignal! The format is at the end of the URL Such as!

Image.gif or page.html

Now! If you want to save the info that you just put in so that the next time you use the freeloader you won't have to fill everything out again! Go down to the bottom of the page to where it says Save Cookies! Now Click on one of the numbers! Your info will be saved to that cookie! Now when you come back to use the Freeloader again you just have to click on the number at the top of the page were you have your cookie stored! ( We talked about this at the beginning ) and the form will be filled out automatically except for the New Name For File field.

Now! Go back up! You'll see four freeloaders to choose from. Press any one of them! The good part here is that if one doesn't work you can just use another one.

After the upload is finished you'll be taken to another screen where you will see the results. Now go and log in to your filemanager, go to the subdirectory ( images ) and make sure that the file made it! We're DONE! I told you it was easy!
