A012 - You can find this one listed in the U.S. Coins Red Book in the
early American Coins section. It is a New England Silver (AR) Threepence
piece of 1652. The planchets of these coins were thin, and they were of
about 19mm in diameter. They have a fancy style "NE" on one side and
the denomination of "III" on the other side. There are very RARE and
called "Unique" in the 1997 Red Book. So much so that a value was not
even given. But the Sixpence version of this coin is listed at $36.000 in VF.
