*Self-tanners have come a long way! To get a natural-lookin' glow, look for a tanner that matches your skin tone (they come in light, medium, and dark shades). And stick with creams and lotions when bronzing your face-sprays are way too tricky! *Wash your face and apply a toner with a cotton ball to prep your skin. If you have dry skin, use a gentle facial scrub to remove any flakes. *Apply tiny drops of tanner with your fingers all over your face and neck (avoid your eyebrows, hairline, and blemishes-these areas will soak up lots of color and look funny). Blend the tanner in really well, then wash your hands to avoid "tan" palms and fingers. *It should take about three hours for your tan to appear. If you end up with any streaky or really dark areas, massage a facial scrub into the spot to help soften the color.
