TIMOTHY ADAMS Casey Mitchum Timothy Adams plays Casey Mitchum, an all-American lifeguard with a troubled past.

SHAWN BATTEN Sara Cummings Shawn Batten plays Sara Cummings, Meg's older sister who had something happen to her in Washington DC.

SAM BEHRENS Gregory Richards Sam Behrens plays Gregory Richards, the rich, conniving, and silver-tongued attorney on "Sunset Beach."

SARAH BUXTON Annie Douglas Sarah Buxton plays the impulsive, unpredictable, and scheming Annie Douglas, a sexy poor-little-rich-girl.

HANK CHEYNE Ricardo Torres Hank Cheyne plays Ricardo Torres, a detective on the Sunset Beach Police Department.

EDDIE CIBRIAN Cole Deschanel Eddie Cibrian joined the cast of "Sunset Beach" as Cole St. John, the mysterious jewel thief and grandson of town founder Armando Deschanel, in February 1997.

RUSSELL CURRY Tyus Robinson Russell Curry plays Dr. Tyus Robinson who is the doctor of all trades. I have seen him do headaches, OBGYN, and a ton of other medical needs. He is the miracle doctor to say the least.

LESLIE ANNE-DOWNS Olivia RichardsAcclaimed actress Lesley-Anne Down plays Olivia Richards, the "trophy wife" of Gregory Richards. Driven by social power and status, she heads the local radio station and virtually runs the town of Sunset Beach.

PRISCILLA GARITA Gabi Martinez Priscilla Garita portrays Gabi Martinez, the step-sister of Paula (who left town). Gabi is a sensual woman who uses her beauty to get what she wants out of life.

JASON GEORGE Micheal Bourne Jason George plays Michael Bourne, a street-smart lifeguard from South Central Los Angeles.

DAX GRIFFIN Tim Truman Dax Griffin plays Tim Truman, who is determined to win back the woman who jilted him and tarnished his ego, Meg Cummings (Susan Ward).

CRISTA-ELLEN HARRIS Emily Davis Harris is slated to be Sean's new love interest, as they both vie for the one available lifeguard position.

KAM HESKIN Caitlin Richards-Deschanel Kam Heskin, who replaced Vanessa Dorman as Caitlin Richards Deschanel readily admits, "The amount of memorization overwhelmed me at first. I gasped, 'How can anyone do this?'"Heskin jumped right in, while her character jumped right into bed with Cole.

DOMINIQUE JENNINGS Virginia Harrison Dominique started Sunset a few months after it's first air- date and was originally just a minor character to tap into Michael's past. But she was so connvincing as the "woman who will do anything to get her man" that Sunset made her, and her on-screen son, contract players.

NICK KIRIAZIS Antonio Torres Nick Kiriazis plays Father Antonio Torres, who is the younger brother of police detective Ricardo Torres.

BARBARA MANDRELL Alex Mitchum These days, Barbara Mandrell can be caught moonlighting on Sunset Beach. She is now a recurring character - with one of the most heartfelt storylines in daytime. She plays Alex Mitchum, the mother of Casey Mitchum (Tim Adams), who is struggling with cancer (she is currently in remission). Alex is also friends to many of the Sunset Beach residents and has much history with them. One her last visit to Sunset Beach she seemed to be falling in love with the much married Gregory Richards (Sam Behrens). Alex is not the "evil" type though and understands that Gregory is a married man, so opts so remain good friends with him. Alex is currently off doing photo shoots, as she is a famed photo journalist. She will most likely return to Sunset in the near future.

KATHLEEN NOONE Kathleen Noone portrays Bette, the fun-loving, eccentric aunt of Annie Douglas (Sarah Buxton). Despite her maturity, Bette still manages to get in more mischief than a lovesick teenager.

CLIVE ROBERTSON Ben/Derek Evans Clive Robertson plays the mysterious and charming Ben Evans, owner of Sunset Beach's Java Web and The Deep. He also played Ben's evil identical twin, Derek.

SHERRI SAUM Vanessa Hart Sherri Saum plays Vanessa Hart, an aggressive rising star reporter at a local newspaper who is determined to capture the Pulitzer Prize.

RANDY SPELLING Sean Richards Randy Spelling portrays Sean Richards, the rebellious son in the Richards family.

GORDON THOMSON Armando Deschanel Jr. Thomson premiered last week on Sunset Beach in the role of Armando Deschanel, Jr. (A.J.). Viewers were introduced to A.J. on a cruise ship, just as his former lover, Olivia, was about to go overboard. He saved her, but that's not the last we'll see of him. The character has arrived in Sunset Beach, where he has a "ruthless, yet somewhat secretive agenda" to play out.

SUSAN WARD Meg Cummings Susan Ward plays Meg Cummings, the woman who left Tim Truman (Dax Griffin) at the altar in Ludlow, Kansas, to search for a man in Sunset Beach she knew only through the Internet as "SB."

JEFFREY WOODS Jimmy Harrison Jeffrey Woods plays James "Jimmy" Harrison, the innocent son of the scheming, love-crazed Virginia Harrison on Sunset Beach.
