Poems by a depressed Beast
(He didn't give titles for these, so I'll just put his comments instead. They're in bold.)

This one started out as a Nirvana/Nick Cave inspired song lyric.

Swallowed whole
rippling light
a tinge of gold
feels so right
feel so old
what am i
live, die
or mere existence
can’t stand
can’t speak
hold my hand
still i reek
of someone else
help me
i’m falling
wallowing
wish i were
a phoenix
on a desert plain
at least i’d be
someone like me.

Notice the Radiohead tinge?

Hi, I’m dead
nothing more
nothing less
How’s life been treating you
hope you’ve made
the right choices
don’t worry
you’ll end up like me
just dead.
nothing more
nothing less.

I'm a Cobain freak. So sue me.

        Impurity
        Impunity
        Immorality
        Immortallity
        I’m pure
        I’m puny
        I’m moral
        I’m mortal
What the heck does that make me?

The crudest of the lot. Censored.

pour me another
b*st*rd
gimme a shot
b**ch
on the rocks
moron
one for the road
sl*t
can i buy you a drink
a**hole
happy hour’s over

the rest just goes on forever.
