The Miracles of Pope Kerollis "AS THE LORD GOD OF ISREAL LIVES…. BEFORE WHOM STAND" 1KINGS 17:1 The promised visit: +One of the Fathers of St. Mena Monastery in Mariout: His Reverence says; He saw Pope Kerollis VI in a dream in the morning of 14 April 1981 in the end of the weeks of the Holy Lent. The Pope was sitting on a simple wooden bench …and he seemed to be deep in wearisome thought. He called me and told me that he was going to the monastery and he was in St. Cathedral in Cairo I was very glad and I started preparing myself for traveling. There were some people there and I told them what to do and Left them in charge during my absence. I found the pope staring at me. He called me and asked me "My son are you going to tell those people about this?" I said to him "No, I will not tell any one Sayidna (master). " I woke up happily because I had seen my father and my beloved Pope Kerollis VI. And I didn't tell anyone what I had seen as I had Promised his Holiness…….I kept thinking about the interpretation of that dream. After three days on 17 April 1981, which was the last Friday of the Holy Lent and we were all present in the church, monks, student monks and some visitors. We were waiting for his grace Bishop Mena, the Bishop of the monastery, to enter and begin the Unction (Andeel). One of the visitors(who has served the monastery for a long time) came to me and told me with extreme gladness "Pope Kerollis is praying with us today." I asked him how? He answered, "While we were waiting for his grace Bishop Mena to arrive, the door actually opened but the one who entered was his Holiness Pope Kerollis. Then he went to the north altar and bowed down in front of it and entered it. I stood up overwhelmed and also some people that were around me also stood up instinctively. Then they asked me the reason why I stood up, Because his Grace Bishop Mena hadn't arrived yet. At that moment I restrained my tongue and I did not tell them what I saw." We glorify God from all our hearts. It was truly a blessed day, we felt a strong spiritual power among us. And by the way that man had been suffering because of many troubles for a long time, and God saved him from them after this vision. He returned glorifying God and thanking Pope Kerollis VI.
