All that I know about myself...

Well, I didn't think anyone actually CARED, but thanks for coming here to learn more about me and my interests. First of let me explain that though I have done other webpages, I plan on making this one here my flagship. Since I just recently got a Cable Modem, I am looking forward to really making this a flashy site.

Anyways, I was born in Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver on October, 3. 1976 making me halfway through my 22nd year. I am the oldest of my siblings, having two younger sisters ages 20 and 16. My hobbies, while very diverse, keep me occupied when there is nothing much else to do. (Isn't that what hobbies are for???). I play the trumpet and piano as I have for over 11 years. I have had the opportunity to play in many of the local Wind Ensembles, Stage Bands, Theatrical Musicals and Plays, Full Symphonic Orchestras, Brass Quintets, and Solo Performances. It is only now that I am trying to combine my musical talents with another hobby of mine....film. It is my dream one day to direct Music Videos and in September, I am planning on returning to Capilano College to continue my Film Studies. I have already completed a few already. I have also taken some Computer and Telecommunication courses at Cap as well. Through my musical endeavors, I have been lucky to travel to many interesting places all over the world including most of Europe twice, New Orleans, Hawaii, Florida, and California. Hopefully, I will get some pictures scanned of those trips if I have time.

Besides music, my other pasttimes include skiing, which I haven't had a chance to do much of due to the fact that it is summer and that I have outgrown all my stuff. I have had volunteer experience working as a school groups leader for 2 years for the Vancouver Aquarium. Animals are another of my hobbies, and currently I own a huge, fat, white rabbit named Salvester who I brought home from one of my music retreats (much to my parents delight!) and three cats. One of my cats is just mine. She is Peeko and is the kitten on the front page of this website. I had moved out with my ex-girlfriend for a year and we had gotten her then. But now she is with me where she belongs. My other cats names are Tappy and Maize. You can see them all in my Pictures section. I love camping and the outdoors, especially with close friends and family. I like rainy days more than sunny ones. And I love movies. I love them. But that is another section of my page....

"These are a few of my favorite things..."

Animals, Dixieland, skiing, movies, soup and crackers, Ichiban noodles and Sprite, Chili with Garlic Bread, Kool-Aid and Bagels, sleeping under tons of pillows and blankets, all animals except slugs (worms are pushing it too), hanging out playing N64, Subway and beer, my super slow computer, when the dog barks, Christmas day, Fridays, my soft, soft bed and my sweet baby Corinna.

"These are a few of the things I hate...."

Dead batteries that have not been thrown out, cleaning out my cat's litter box, getting up early, slow drivers, untrustworthy people, pins and needles in my arms when I wake up, allergies, Coquette, Teletubbies, the Borg, the Greys, and getting up in the morning to a freezing cold house. It is also frusterating to know that I will be 27 years old when I know the complete Star Wars story.

My Personal Resume for Employers:

My    favorite    music...

Some of my favorite musicians and albums are as follows: Pink Floyd, any of their albums, especially Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. I also love Led Zeppelin and Creedance Clearwater Revival. Some Metallica and Guns N Roses is more than tolerable too. I am a movie soundtrack fan, and I love the music from such movies as Edward Scissorhands, Austin Powers, and Kingpin. I also listen to a lot of Jazz and Classical. I love Dvorak and Smetna. I listen to Shostikovitch and a bit of Beethoven. I loved Dixieland and swing, not that new stuff that they overplay so much of nowadays, but I mean the CLASSICS, like Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, and Duke Ellington. I have an extensive music collection and I listen to a lot of other types of music. Everything except rap!! I like rave music, baroque, jazz vocals (only a select bit), musicals, plays, and I love those relaxation CD's which I have quite a few of. If you have any musical tastes, please let me know. Like I said, my musical background is quite extensive.
