1 David and Charlotte Cook

David Cook was born in 1799 in Yorkshire, England and died January 28, 1856 at the age of 57 in Cookville, New Brunswick, Canada.

David married Charlotte Towse (daughter of John Towse) on February 15, 1821. Charlotte was born in 1801 and died in 1854.

2 Elizabeth Cook (Dec. 25, 1823 to Nov. 25, 1886) - born at Tonge's Island

She married Charles Wheaton (Born 1821 Died 1854). Charles was a farmer in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and a Justice of the Peace.

He died of cholera and was buried in Estabrooks Cemetery in Fond du Lac.

2 George Cook (Mar. 20, 1826 to N/A)

He was in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin when his sister Mary was married in 1852 as he was a witness. In the 1860 census he was in the town of Burton LaFette, Wisconsin.

2 Mary Amelia Cook (March 16, 1828 to N/A) - buried in the Cook lot in Pendleton, Oregon

She married Howard Wheaton (by Charles Wheaton - Justice of the Peace) on February 22, 1852 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The witnesses were George Cook and Rachel Grout. Howard died July 21, 1854 of cholera at 26 years of age. He is buried in Estabrooks Cemetery in Fond du Lac.

Mary then married Robert C. Estabrooks (also a widower) October 26, 1856. Robert was born April 6, 1809 in Vermont and died July 17, 1897. He is buried in Estabrooks Cemetery. He was a cooper by trade, but later took up farming. For 25 years he was a Justice of the Peace and married 40 couples.

2 James Cook (July 13, 1830 to March 12, 1831)

2 William Henry Cook (March 7, 1832 to February 29, 1888) - died of pneumonia

He married Eunice O'Brien (1827 - 1882) on October 12, 1851. She died of tuberculosis. Rev. George Oulton in Aulac, New Brunswick, performed the marriage.

 

2 John Atkinson Cook (December 31, 1832 to April 22, 1888) - buried in Cookville, NB.

He married Mary Jane McPhee (died May 9, 1904). She was a daughter of Angus McPhee and sister of Stewart McPhee.

2 James A. Cook (January 1, 1835 to 1906) - buried in Upper Sackville.

He originally resided in Milltown, New Brunswick and then later moved to Beach Hill, New Brunswick. He married September 9, 1855 to Isabelle Main (September 4, 1838 to 1928)

2 Christopher Cook (Born 1837)

Went to Wisconsin and died there. The 1860 census shows Christopher Cook on Elk Drive in Millville, Wisconsin.

2 Isaac Cook (Born July 25, 1839)

He married Ada McHaffey. They lived in Boston for a short time. His health failed and he lived in Colorado briefly, then moved to Wisconsin. He is listed in Wingville, Grant County, Wisconsin.

2 Charles Cook (June 18, 1841 to November 21, 1884)

He was born in Cookville, NB. He is buried in Estabrooks Cemetery in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He once had an axe handle factory in Hastings, Nova Scotia. The property later became known as the Manship property.

He was married to Judith Snowden (Died Feb. 16, 1916) - buried in Sackville, NB. She resided in Westcock, now known as West Sackville, NB.
