hi linda it is still so hard to look at his pitcher I mean realy look into his face and believe he is gone.even though he was my nefew I didnt get to spend alot of time with him or dany or b-j Im realy glad we all lived in alaska at the same time;Im glad I got the chance to know him he was A rare and speacial person.I know you feel like when GODwas handing out blessings he forget about you but you were very blessed with three kids that are so full of love and very speacial in there own way. not all parents can say that Ilove you and Iwish we didnt live so far apart wish I could be there for you. I know your heart is broken and you life is full of pain; I only hope that I am already in heaven when it is your turn to come just to be there at that momet when you first lay your eyes on your billy -your baby again. even though I am here and you are there I have joined you in your pain so I hope to join you in your JOY!!!! I was serching on the net for nothing really when I came across your page. As I viewed the photos and read the beatiful words that followed my eyes filled with tears. I think my tears made me undersatnd how meaningfull life is, and how you need to live everyday as if it were your last. You must be very strong. Your son must be proud. Hang in there!

My mother (JPA5@AOL.COM) told me of your website.As my mother stated we lost our "JAZZY"-Jasmine Alexa, last year. The only solice has been that we believe she is now our new "Guardian Angel",painfree and with God. Time, so far, has not helped, but reading your poem/seeing your website has helped. losing a child

I was just trying to find poems in relation to love and stumbled upon your home page, I think it is a beautiful tribute to your son, especially the poem about people not talking about him for fear of hurting you, my son and his wife lost their 8 year old daughter (one of twins) 2/23/98 so we understand lose, but people are so afraid to talk about her for fear of hurting you, but if they only knew that talking about her helps you to heal, she's gone but not forgotten, talk helps.

Our Children

I just took a look at your beautiful page for your son. I am at a lost for words right now my 18 year old daughter was murdered in May 1998 it is so hard to carry on my heart and spirit are so broken I don't know if it will every heal. God bless you and your family. Strength be with you.

I'm really not sure what to say! I was very touched by your page. I'm still in tears! I'm sincerely sorry for your loss, and even though I didn't know Billy, I can tell from this page that he was a wonderful guy. This page was a wonderful thing to do, and Billy was very lucky to have such a loving family. Just remember that he is in a better place, and the day will come when you will see him again. I just want to say that I'm so sorry for you loss. But I think that this page is one of the most beautiful memorials I've ever seen. I imagine that everyday is a challenge for you...but if you live it just the way that Billy wanted you to nothing will go wrong. Remember the prayer Footprints...It was when you only saw one set of foot prints that I carried you. Let god carry you when you need it. God bless!

I can only say that I am so breathless at this moment. I have the tears still running down my face. I have not lost a child myself and would not know what to do if either of my boys left me. I can say that you are vey strong, and loving people. God blessed you with the time with your son and you have stayed so strong through it all. I admire you all for your bravery. Wondering how to go on??

I lost my Son,,,Christopher,Sept 2 1998,I'am so lost without his Light of life,,now everthing around me is dark and despair.I read some of the poems and just still cant find any solace in them.How is it that we are to contiune with faith when the God we know could take a child from us. You see Chris was only 12 yr old,My friend my buddy he use to look up to me,, but never told him how I look up to him.Missing you my son,very very much.

thank u 4 u're page it is wonderful,u see i have also lost a son 19 yrs ago but the pain never leaves it 's also there, & it took awhile 4 me 2 realize that god didn't promise him 2 me 4 ever he only loned him 2 me because he was his son b4 he became mine & i thank God every day 4 the time he allowed me w/him but he also blessed me w/twins 4 years later when i was told i could never have another child so even though he took 1 he gave me 2 back but neither can ever replace the other they r all special & 2 this day i stll felel all the pain & i still wonder why so thank u very much 4 u're page

Billys death

I am sorry that you had to loose your son. It is your cross to carry and you do know you will see him again someday. In fact, you can probably close your eyes and see him or just look around the house and see him. I too am a mother that lost a son. It is a mothers nightmare. Mark went on his first vacation and never returned. He took his best friend to West Virginia to see his grandma because he was going into the army. While visiting my son decided to do a good deed. He was helping his friends brother move some friends to another town. Mark did not know the area and went off the burm. He was killed instantly along with 2 others. His best friend died on the way to the hospital. This vacation changed the lives of four families. It is a vacation we will always remember. I also say, please talk to me about Mark. I may cry but that is okay but I do need to know you remember him. Our life has changed and I look forward to being done with my work here on e

Very beautifully done and a great memorial to your son. I lost my son when he was a year and a half. He would be 20 years old this March. He is always on my mind and I still feel his presence with me. Take comfort knowing you have an angel with you. He will always be with you.
