This is the little page I'm starting up to blab about whatever local
music related info I can dig up. This is my first attempt at a page
of this nature, so bear with me.
There isn't exactly a very big extreme music scene in the Toronto area,
with only a small number of 'good' bands, and few studios or labels that
I'm aware of. So, I started this page to try and inform myself of the
various places in this area that into the same stuff I am, as well as to
gain some much needed exposure.
There are but three quality bands that come to mind which are from the Toronto
area (or Southern Ontario) for that matter. Those three bands being: Mundane
(located in Toronto), Shallow North Dakota (from Hamilton, ON), and Fence
(Brampton/Toronto). Mundane has released to cds thus far, the first being 'Seed'
on Raw Energy, and the second being 'Feeding on a Lower Spine' on Hypnotic Records.
Shallow North Dakota has some demo material that I'm aware of, and two releases:
'Auto Body Crusher', and 'This Apparatus Must Be Earthed', both of which I believe
were released through Sonic Unyon Records. Sonic Unyon carries another band I am
familiar with, that being Kittens. These guys are good as well.
Mundane has a web page located at this site:

Shallow, North Dakota has a page at the Sonic Unyon site here:

Kittens also have a page at the Sonic Unyon site:
