TRACKS: 1.Jotun 2.Food For the Gods 3.Gyroscope 4.Dialogue with the Stars 5.The Hive 6.Jester Script Transfigured 7.Morphing into Primal 8.Worlds Within the Margin 9.Episode 666 10.Everything Counts 11.Whoracle Well, well. And here is the newest from the Sweedish group In Flames, "Whoracle". the title is incredibly cheesy, but one must be able to disregard this for the sake of the music. After "The Jester Race", one is inclined to expect a lot from In Flames. Though perhaps not quite as strong as "The Jester Race", "Whoracle" is still a very strong and also seemingly showy album. The album begins with an explosion of energy with the first song, Jotun. The music is loud and aggressive with great guitar work, yet still possessing melody. Highlights include Food for the Gods, Episode 666 (probably the best song on the album) and Whoracle, which contains some female vocals. I was actually a bit disappointed that more female vocals were not added, ones with a little more depth than those in "Whoracle". Oh well. RATING: 7.5/10
