Savage Ridge, Antarctica

Located near the summit of Mount Morning in the TransAntarctic Mountains to the west of Ross Island, Savage Ridge and Weidner Ridge are named for two scientists from the University of Wisconsin who traveled to Antarctica repeatedly in the 1980's to assist in the deployment of Automatic Weather Stations around the Continent.
